US Soccer today announced the roster for the Olympic Qualifying Playoff match against Columbia and it features two Colorado Rapids players:
Defender Eric Miller and Midfielder Dillon Serna
This is great news for both Miller and Serna as they will look to help the USMNT U-23 squad qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. And they join Kevin Doyle, Mekeil Williams and Marco Pappa who have all been called up for their respective national teams during this International window.
The USMNT U-23 team will play on March 25 at Columbia (live on Fox Sports 1 at 3:00 PM MDT) and in Frisco, Texas on March 29 at 5:30 PM MDT (live on ESPN2). The winning team in this tie will qualify for the 2016 Olympics.
