A fairly quiet day in Rapids land...

Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

Not a whole heck of a lot happened in the land of the Colorado Rapids as the team continues its preparation for their match with Sacramento Republic FC on Saturday.

Here are some of the soccer stories that we are watching:

It sounds like David Beckham is looking for investors for his Miami project.

The New York Red Bulls lost a major piece of the puzzle when Matt Miazga was sold to Chelsea.  But it sounds like they had a plan for his departure.

The USWNT took to the pitch last night and it is a significant moment for the team.  A whole lot of transition for the three times World Champions.

The owner of the Colorado Rapids may be rich.  Just sayin'

A key player for the Charlotte Independence announced his return to Charlotte.  This is good news!

Holy crap Columbus.  This is hideous.

Former Rapids player Marcelo Sarvas looks happy to be out of Colorado and at D.C. United.

Can New England Revolution and Jermaine Jones play nice and make up?
