Colorado Rapids vs San Jose Earthquakes: How to watch, TV information and more

The Rapids remain unbeaten at DSGP.

MLS: Portland Timbers at Colorado Rapids Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

While the Colorado Rapids clinched at least second place in the Western Conference with a win last weekend (and a club record of 54 points), the Supporters’ Shield is still within reach, so every point is going to count. The last time the San Jose Earthquakes came to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, the score was a 0-0 tie.

The Rapids remain unbeaten at home, and have scored seven goals in their last three games. They are also on a 2-game winning streak, so I don’t think we’ll see another 0-0 tie tonight. We are still missing some guys to injury, but Captain Sam Cronin will also be sitting this one out due to yellow card accumulation.

The Quakes recently beat Real Salt Lake 1-0, ending a seven game winless streak, and have a 14-game unbeaten streak against the Rapids. The Burgundy Boys haven’t beaten San Jose since 2011. That being said, the Quakes are sitting in 8th place in the Western Conference right now, and their goalkeeper, David Bingham, played the second half of the U.S. Men’s National Team friendly on Tuesday.
