The Rapids picked up four players today in the third and fourth rounds.

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

The Colorado Rapids finished up with the 2016 Major League Soccer SuperDraft by taking four players and they continue their building process for the 2016 season.

Third Round

43rd Pick--Chris Frouchauer--Goalkeeper--Ohio State University

56th Pick--Javan Torre--Defender--UCLA

58th Pick--Bradley Kamdem--Defender--UNLV

Fourth Round

63rd Pick--John Manga--Forward--University of Cincinnati

So what do we know about these players?  Well, not a whole lot other than they will probably all have a shot at making the club.  The Rapids are still thin in many positions but these picks can help the team.  Frouchauer was the Big Ten Goalkeeper of the year and with the trade of Clint Irwin, the Rapids were in need of a third keeper.  Based on the current depth chart, you could see a guy like Frouchauer get loaned out.

Torre has represented the USMNT at the U-20 level and could be the dark horse of the draft.  He is a strong defender who will get a good look for the Rapids.

Kamden and Manga should also get solid looks and if nothing else could make the roster and be sent to Charlotte.
