I am trying to find the words right now for what is going on with Colorado Rapids midfielder/defender Marlon Hairston.

But as you can tell, Hairston was recalled back from Charlotte today which, if strictly looking at this at face value, makes some sense.  I have documented the possible number of players that could be missing tonight for the Rapids, but it seems strange that he would be recalled now.  And if he is being brought back to just sit on the bench, this is a dumb move.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">i hope Marlon is flying straight to Vancouver and starting tonite at RB. If he sits behind Riley, thats just a slap in the face.</p>&mdash; Brian Mercer (@BMer916) <a href="https://twitter.com/BMer916/status/641702925719498752">September 9, 2015</a></blockquote>

I know that Pablo likes old guys to play, and despite the recent run, this is still not a playoff team.  Are they improving?  Sure.  But play the young kids and see what happens.  You know, roll the dice.  Hairston should start tonight for the Rapids, but I have this sinking suspicion that it does not happen.
