Colorado Rapids at Vancouver Whitecaps: How to Watch, TV Information, Live Stream and More

Wednesday Night Football is back and for the Rapids a result is critical if they want to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.

Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

The Colorado Rapids and Vancouver Whitecaps meet for the third and final time in 2015 and both teams will be looking to secure all three points.   The Rapids are in another good run of form but travel to a very difficult venue at BC Place and the Whitecaps will be looking to take their first points off the Rapids in 2015.

The Goal for Colorado:  Grab a Result

What to Watch For:

1)  Parking that Bus: Does anyone actually think that the Rapids will come out in anything but a defense first formation in this one?  Pablo Mastroeni has never been known for his offensive knowledge or tactical acumen (although this appears to be improving) and I cannot see him running out a formation with any other intent then to absorb pressure and attack on the counter.

2)  Missing Bodies: Both the Rapids and Whitecaps will be missing folks in this one but it should not change what both teams are going after--the win.  The Rapids will be without Drew Moor and Axel Sjoberg and could be missing Kevin Doyle, Maynor Figueroa and Dillon Serna.  The Rapids absolutely have to find a way to get a result and they will have to do it without some of their most important pieces.

3)  Abandon All Hope: So do the Rapids have any shot in this one?  Yes, they do.  I know it sounds ludicrous to imagine a scenario where they could actually pull off the upset and grab a win, but they can.  Yes, the Caps have all of that speed and youth and are one of the best teams in MLS.  It will take more then the Rapids have displayed in the last couple of games, but it is possible.
