Introducing Burgundy Soccer Week

It is a great week (plus) to be a soccer fan in Colorado

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

Six Matches

Seven Days

All at Home.

Here in the Centennial State.

And that does not even include our friends from Colorado Springs who will see the Switchbacks take on Oklahoma Energy FC in in the USL Western Conference Semi-Finals on Sunday night.

If that was not enough, there is that little match between the USMNT and Mexico for the right to go to the 2017 Confederations Cup.

The basic gist:  If you are a soccer fan and you are living at a Mile High, this is a tremendous week (plus) for you.  Check this schedule out:

Those of us here at Burgundy Wave will be providing live, in person coverage, of all six matches at Dick's Sporting Goods Park as well as coverage of the CONCACAF Cup on Saturday, October 10.  In addition, we will be covering the Switchbacks playoff run as they look to win their first USL Title at the first time of asking.

We hope that you will join us and follow along as we cover up to nine matches over the next ten days as we celebrate the Beautiful Game with Burgundy Soccer Week.
