Colorado Rapids vs Columbus Crew SC: How to Watch, Live Stream, TV Information and More

The Rapids and Crew SC tangle for the only time in 2015. What should we expect?

Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

This has not been a good day to be a Colorado Rapids supporter.  The Rapids sold one key player, signed two more and waived a player.  Crazy day indeed in Commerce City.  But through all of this, there is a Rapids match versus Columbus Crew SC that is critical for the fading playoff hopes of the Rapids.

The Goal for the Burgundy Boys: win.

What to Watch For:

1) A Response: The Rapids were utter crap against LA Galaxy and embarrassed  themselves in front of their home supporters.  The playoffs are a road too far for the Rapids, but showing a response after such a poor performance is critical to help raise moral for supporters who are gutted after...

2) Those Moves on Friday: Supporters are wrecked after selling a beloved player who many feel should not have been sold regardless of the reasons.   It is tough to figure out the rational, especially after it was made clear earlier this week that Shane O'Neill was not for sale.  Supporters want to be patient and want to believe in the plan, but there does not seem to be that concrete plan right now.  And sadly, most have lost faith in Tim Hinchey, Paul Bravo and Pablo Mastroeni over the last couple of seasons.  The Rapids have a chance to make this right, and a win tonight against the Crew SC will help.  But only just a bit.

Predicted Starting XI

Despite all of the craziness from yesterday, there is still a match to play.  Here is my best guess Starting XI vs Crew SC in the 4-3-3:

Clint Irwin, Marc Burch, Drew Moor, Jared Watts, Michael Harrington, Dillon Powers, Marcelo Sarvas, Sam Cronin, Juan Ramirez, Kevin Doyle and Vicente Sanchez.
