The Colorado Rapids announced a couple of personnel moves on Friday afternoon and both have caused the requisite reaction that comes with these kinds of moves:
Shane O'Neill Transfered:

OK, so there you have it. Discuss.
But seriously, these moves were met by shock by Rapids supporters. Essentially you are sending one of your youngest and brightest players to Europe for a player who has an interesting past in Major League Soccer. Is this a good move? Well that depends on a few things:
1) The Fee for Shane: If you get a good return on a player, you take it.
2) Shane to Europe: If Shane wanted to go Europe, and he has represented the club well, you make this move.
3) St. Ledger: I have no idea if St Ledger is better than Shane, but he can't be any worse then James Riley or some of the other options in back. So, maybe this is not the worse thing in the world.
Time will tell with all of this, but I imagine the Fan Forum will be fun on Tuesday.
