Badji Recalled; Eloundou Loaned

The Rapids announced some personnel moves as Dominique Badji was recalled from Charlotte Independence.

The Colorado Rapids announced today that rookie forward Dominique Badji was recalled from the Charlotte Independence along with forward Charles Eloundou being loaned to Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.  Both of these moves come as the USL season is nearing its conclusion.

For Badji his time in Charlotte was well spent.  He picked up two goals in six appearances logging nearly 300 minutes for the Independence.  This also included an appearance on the USL team of the week in the middle of August.  Badji also scored the first goal of the year for the Rapids in a 4-0 win over FC Dallas in April.

Eloundou picked up two key assists in the 3-1 victory over Real Salt Lake in July and looked to be a key figure going forward after that, but never really came into form and the loan move should aid in his development.  The interesting thing in all of this is that he was not loaned to the Independence but our neighbors down the road.  Does this mean the end of his time in Commerce City?

So what do you think of these loan moves?  Will you be happy to have Badji back?  Sad to see Eloundou go?  Let us know in the comment sections below!
