Some last minute changes for the MLS All-Stars

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

One thing about an MLS All-Star roster is that it is always changing and what you originally thought you had is not necessarily how you end the event. There were multiple changes yesterday and word out of Commerce City today is an exciting one for Colorado Rapids fans:

.@clintirwin called up to the #MLSAllStar roster. Yep! Clint Irwin is an All-Star and it is very well deserved. Both Nick Rimando of Real Salt Lake and David Ousted of Vancouver Whitecaps are having good years and worthy of the call, but so is Irwin. This is great news for the Rapids to have three All-Stars representing the Burgundy and the state of Colorado. Well done Irwin and well done to Drew Moor and Sam Cronin.

In addition to Irwin, Jozy Altidore was added to the roster to replace an injured Sebastian Giovinco.
