Serna and O'Neill Selected for the Homegrown Game; Kaka Named Captain of All-Star Team

The Colorado natives both made the cut for the Chipotle MLS Homegrown Game and Kaka was selected as All-Star Game Captain

Landon Donovan, Head Coach for the Homegrown Game, announced the MLS roster today for the Chipotle MLS Homegrown Game and Colorado Rapids players Shane O'Neill and Dillon Serna were both named to the roster.  For the Rapids this means that a total of four players will represent the club over the course of the All-Star Game festivities as Drew Moor was selected to play in the ASG and Pablo Mastroeni is the Head Coach.

Here is the roster for the MLS side

GK: Matt Lampson (Columbus Crew SC), Jesse Gonzalez (FC Dallas)

DEF: Justen Glad (Real Salt Lake), Shane O'Neill (Colorado Rapids), Eric Palmer-Brown (Sporting Kansas City), Jalen Robinson (D.C. United), Oscar Sorto (LA Galaxy), Tyler Turner (Orlando City)

MID: Jordan Allen (Real Salt Lake ), Jay Chapman (Toronto FC), Sean Davis (New York Red Bulls), Zach Pfeffer (Philadelphia Union), Memo Rodriguez (Houston Dynamo), Dillon Serna (Colorado Rapids), Harry Shipp (Chicago Fire), Ben Swanson (Columbus Crew SC), Russell Teibert (Vancouver Whitecaps), Alex Zendejas (FC Dallas)

F: Coy Craft (FC Dallas), Kianz Froese (Vancouver Whitecaps), Anthony Jackson-Hamel (Montreal Impact), Tommy Thompson (San Jose Earthquakes)

The MLS side will take on Club America U-20 squad on Tuesday, July 28 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
