The Colorado Rapids make their first trip to the Emerald City tonight to play Seattle Sounders in a Western Conference clash that many are predicted to go the way of the Rave Green. The Rapids are coming off their first home victory since July 2014 with a 1-0 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps while the Sounders played Sporting Kansas City to a 0-0 draw over the weekend.
The Goal for the Rapids: Grab another road result.
What To Watch For:
1) Quiet. Don't Tell Anyone: But the Rapids are suddenly on a 5 game unbeaten run. No one in Major League Soccer has seemed to notice, but that may have more to do with the Rapids table position then anything else. Can the Rapids make it six in a row? That is a great question as the Rapids have never won in Seattle and just have one result there since Seattle came into the league.
2) Doyle or Solignac. Or Both? You have to think that both Kevin Doyle and Luis Solignac are fit and ready to go tonight in Seattle. Will Pablo Mastroeni get them both on the pitch at the same time? Do you start both? Time will tell, but I think we see both at some point together as you did not sign them to have them sit on the bench.
3) Lineup Changes? This is the Rapids second of three games in eight days. Lineups and formations may be slightly different to account for this, but for the most part the Rapids are healthy so Mastroeni should have close to a first choice squad out there.

Predicted Starting XI:
Keeping in mind that the Rapids have a quick turn around with a Saturday match, here is my best guess at a Starting XI:
Clint Irwin, Marc Burch, Bobby Burling, Axel Sjoberg, Michael Harrington, Lucas Pittinari, Sam Cronin, Juan Ramirez, Gabriel Torres, Doyle, Solignac
I know I don't have Drew Moor in the lineup, but if there was going to be a game to rest him (and his knee) at Century Link Field and the turf they have, this is the best time to do so.
