The Colorado Rapids announced today that they signed Argentinian striker Luis Solignac from Nueva Chicago of the Argentine First Division:
This is significant news for the Rapids as it is no secret that they have struggled with scoring goals this year. And as a forward, Solignac should see immediate playing time up front as soon as he is fit and gets his P-1 Visa. In addition this acquisition will allow Gabriel Torres to continue his mini resurgence this year. It really appears that Torres is starting to flourish in a Rapids uniform if he is not relied upon to be "the man" in the goal scoring department.
