If the internets are to be believed the Colorado Rapids could be in for Argentinian forward Luis Solignac.

According to the report, the transfer fee has been agreed to and is in the neighborhood of $600,000
He is a young striker (24 years old) and has a pretty decent strike rate at 20 goals for 40 appearances while with IFK Mariehamn which is in the Finnish Premier League. He is from Buenos Aires, Argentina which would be the third Argentinian player signed this year after Lucas Pittinari and Juan Ramirez. It shows the increasing importance of Claudio Lopez and what he means for the club.
As for the Rapids, this would be a nice move for a club that is still struggling in front of goal. And with Kevin Doyle not do to arrive until this summer, the club needs to bring in reinforcements to increase goal scoring numbers and in turn, wins.
