Man of the Match Voting--Colorado Rapids, Match One

New, 5 comments

Who do you think put in the best performance in Pennsylvania on Saturday?

Derik Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

The Colorado Rapids draw was not what one would call a thing of beauty but it was effective as the Rapids opened their 2015 campaign with a 0-0 draw over Philadelphia Union.  For the new look Rapids this was a good start to the season even if the statistics were less than extraordinary.

Some players made their Rapids debuts in this match:  Axel Sjoberg, James Riley, Marcelo Sarvas, Bobby Burling, Michael Harrington, Lucas Pittinari, and Dom Badji.  Sarvas had the armband for the injured Drew Moor and Rapids players such as Dillon Powers, Shane O'Neill, Deshorn Brown, and Marc Burch all started on the bench.  Needless to say, this was very different Rapids team.

So now we are asking you, our fearless readers: who was your man of the match?  Was it Irwin?  Was it Harrington?  Was it Burling for his introduction into #RapidsThugLife?  Let us know in the poll and we will announce the winner on Tuesday with the release of our player ratings.
