Tuesday Footy! Yes, Please!
The USMNT takes on Switzerland in a friendly in Zurich today with the hopes of erasing the memory of the bitter defeat to Denmark last week. Yes, I understand that it is just a friendly, but gosh, you can't play that poorly and hope to beat a solid team like Denmark. (Let alone teams in CONCACAF in the Gold Cup--but that is an article for another day). Will the Lads come out and shake off last week and get a result? Or will they drop another one this year?
What to Watch For:
Defense: I know that Jurgen Klinsmann has said that he was not concerned about the defense as evidenced by this:
Klinsmann: "I think the backline overall did a fine job"— Brian Sciaretta (@BrianSciaretta) March 25, 2015
First off, what game were you watching Mr Klinsmann? Cause the game I saw, the defense sucked. Two of the Danish goals were complete and utter breakdowns in back and this cannot happen in International play. The defense has looked very pedestrian since the World Cup, and I agree that this is the time to tinker with formations, but man, they can't play that bad.
Those Toronto Boys: Although TFC got screwed on Sunday in Sandy, the duo of Jozy Altidore and Michael Bradley will be leading the charge today in Zurich. Jozy looked like a new man and his confidence appears to be back. Bradley looked great in the middle and against a strong Swiss side it will be needed. If the USMNT is going to beat Switzerland today, Bradley and Altidore are critical.
Identity: As a Colorado Rapids supporter, the term identity is popular. What identity will the Rapids have. For me, it is the same as with the USMNT. What is the identity of this team? Does anyone know? Does Mr Klinsmann know?

Best Guess at a Starting XI:
I honestly have no idea. Klinsmann keeps changing so much I am not sure he does.
