Tremendous news out of Commerce City today as Colorado Rapids officially announced that they had signed Agentinian midfielder Juan Ramirez to a Young Designated Player contract.

Ramirez becomes the ninth new player signed to play for the Rapids this off-season as they work to distance themselves from a difficult 2014 season.  It appears that Ramirez will slot into the 4-2-3-1 formation that the Rapids are looking to play and should provide the attacking pace and presence that the Rapids were lacking in 2014.

More on this story to come, but what do you think Rapids fans?  Are you excited about the addition of Ramirez to the squad?  Is he the missing link?  Let us know in the comments below!
