Highlight of the Year: Sarvas had a quiet year overall, but the goal that he scored in the penultimate game of the season against Sporting Kansas City had to be a highlight. It was completely out of the blue and helped the Rapids secure their final win of the year.
Lowlight of the Year: Sarvas was very good for the Rapids at the start of the season and although Colorado struggled out of the gate, there was still hope and Sarvas was a big reason for that. But then he went down with an injury that required surgery and that seemed to take a lot out of his game and his participation the rest of the way.
2015 Grade (C+): Sarvas was good when he got consistent playing time and the injury certainly slowed his game this year. But for a guy that played 80 of 88 (91%) games with the Galaxy before the trade, the Rapids had to be a bit disappointed with Sarvas playing just 74% this season.
2016 Outlook: A player of his quality really has to hate being associated with such a poorly coached franchise and I can imagine that he will look to make a move.
