MLS Viewing Guide, Week 32

The Rapids play their final home game of the season this Saturday

Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

It certainly has been a tough season in Commerce City for the Colorado Rapids and the Burgundy Boys take to the pitch at Dick's Sporting Goods Park for the final time in 2015.  For the Rapids they will be looking to put on a good show for the loyal home supporters and hope for better things in 2016.  It is a very light week in MLS action, with just three games on the docket.

The MLS Viewing Guide, Week 32 edition:

Wednesday, October 7

New York Red Bulls vs Montreal Impact--Red Bull Arena--5:30 PM MDT  (MLS Live)

This is pretty important game for both teams, but especially for the Impact.  They have two matches this week and have Orlando City on their tails for the sixth and final spot in the Eastern Conference.  Montreal has a dreadful road record and I think they end of losing this one and giving additional hope to OCSC in the process.

Vancouver Whitecaps vs FC Dallas--BC Place--8:00 PM MDT  (MLS Live)

The Whitecaps are eminently beatable at home (8-6-1) and FC Dallas is a team that can legitimately take the Supporters Shield as they are just a point behind LA Galaxy with two games in hand.   The Caps have not won in their last three (0-2-1) and I think Dallas has enough to grab a tie on the road.

Saturday, October 10

Colorado Rapids vs Montreal Impact--Dick's Sporting Goods Park--4:00 PM MDT  (Altitude Sports)

I so badly want to hope that the Rapids will win this one at home.  I really want them to win.  I think they can win.  But, it will end up being a disappointing end of the season and the Rapids tie at home to finish their home slate at 5-6-6.
