Are You Loyal To The Colorado Rapids?

Some fans are questioning their support and it's a nasty conversation to have. Where do you stand?

Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

I was able to catch the very end of the Seattle Sounders v. LA Galaxy game on Sunday after driving home from the Colorado Rapids very disappointing result. (If you didn't watch the game, here is the match recap) Watching that game was exactly what I needed after a night where I didn't know what to think as a Rapids fan. We lost in a terrible way again, we have a lead at home and do nothing with it, but we also won the Rocky Mountain Cup which kind of left a weird taste in my mouth. Needless to say I was in a football funk and the Sounders got me out of it.

I usually can't stand the Sounders, but the way they played and the energy their fans showed had me a little jealous. In that same moment my friend who is also a season ticket holder for the Rapids texted me and says, "We should probably be Seattle fans." This wasn't the first time I have heard this either. I feel like every time there is a missed pass or a shot gone wide theres an audible groan in the crowd, and without fail getting drinks after the game at Eighteen76 there is a fan who is talking about being so fed up and threatening to stop being a supporter. To me this was never even an option. You stayed with your club no matter what, through thick and thin, but is there a time when you have to say no more?

Everyone including me is frustrated right now for many different reasons but has changing your support ever crossed your mind?

Going through another season full of frustration has really got me thinking of where our fans stand right now. Are we creating a culture of Rapids fans for life? Where do you stand?

I have a poll below! Explain what you picked and if you don't land anywhere in the options explain in the comments below!
