When the Colorado Rapids and Montreal Impact get together they have a tendency to score goals and it usually leads to some exciting and fun soccer. For the Rapids, they are hosting their final home game of the dreadful 2015 season and this is their last chance to show the fans they can win a game. For the Impact, this is a must win if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive. Needless to say, this should be a fun one.
The Goal for Colorado: Win one for the fans
What to Watch For
1) The Last Stand: could this be the last home game for Rapids gaffer Pablo Mastroeni? Or will the Rapids keep him for 2016? All the reports state that decision is already made that he is coming back, so this question may be moo. (Yep, that is a Joey reference).
2) It's over, play the young guys: Both Zero X and the Rapids Rabbi had great articles this week about the need to play the young guys in this one. Both do you think that Pablo would actually do that? You know, play the RapKids? I doubt it seriously.
3) Can the Rapids Win? Sure, they can. But color me skeptical right now. I just can't see it happening.
