Normally, we do the Rapids Thugcast on Wednesdays, but this week we've got a game scheduled for that day and we're so excited about Colorado's current form that we've just gotta talk about it a bit earlier than usual. Colorado followed up a 4-1 win over the Montreal Impact with a 3-0 win over the Houston Dynamo. There were touches of brilliance all over the offense, especially from Deshorn Brown and Dillon Powers. Kamani Hill scored a kung fu goal.
The excitement of that two-game run, however, is going to be matted down a bit if the Rapids can't take care of business on Wednesday evening against the Chicago Fire. Quincy Amarikwa and Jeff Larentowicz will return, looking to have better reuinions with their former team than Omar Cummings had with the Dynamo. We'll discuss the Chicago game, the US Men's National Team, and our own usual brand of tangents on the Thugcast today.
