Vicente Sanchez Out 4-6 Weeks For The Rapids

A tough break for the Burgundy Boys as they learn that leading scorer Vicente Sanchez could potentially be out until the World Cup break.

News trickled out today that Rapids leading scorer Vicente Sanchez is going to miss between 4-6 weeks with a knee sprain that he suffered early in the first half against Los Angeles Galaxy.  He was in obvious pain early in the half, but managed to stay on and contribute the game winning goal for the Rapids.

The big question now for the Rapids is who is going to replace his production on the pitch.  Sanchez started up front on Saturday with Deshorn Brown which benefited Brown more than anything as he showed some of  the creative and offensive spark that had been missing.  But with Sanchez possibly out until the World Cup break and a stretch of six matches, who do the Rapids bring on?

Assuming everyone is healthy, do you see Dillon Serna, Dillon Powers, Jose Mari and Nick LaBrocca in the midfield?  Or is time for Charles Eloundou to get a longer look or is it time for Nathan Sturgis?
