The Colorado Rapids will look to build on their fortunes as they will travel to the Canadian Province of Ontario to play Toronto FC at BMO Field. The Canadian club made the headlines with splash signings over the offseason that included United States international Michael Bradley, former Tottenham striker Jermaine Defoe, and Brazilian national team goalkeeper Julian Cesar.

Colorado (2-1-1) are coming off a 2-1 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps on the weekend. The Rapids found themselves down 1-0 after Darren Mattocks found the first goal in the second half. However, Matias Laba was sent off for a second bookable offense and Jose Mari scored two fantastic goals from outside the penalty area as the Rapids claimed all three points in British Columbia.

Toronto FC (3-1-0) defeated the Columbus Crew 2-0 in Ohio on Saturday. Michael Bradley found the scoresheet with an impossible angle while Issey Nakajima-Farran tallied with a late goal that sealed the win for the men in red. TFC goalkeeper Julio Cesar is currently on loan from English Championship side Queens Park Rangers and is expected to start for Brazil in the 2014 FIFA World Cup this summer.

BMO Field is a special place for Rapids supporters as it was the site where Colorado lifted the 2010 MLS Cup Championship over FC Dallas. However, league matches against Toronto FC at BMO Field have been a different story, as the Rapids have traditionally struggled in Ontario. They are currently a staggering 0-6-0 all-time against the Reds in Canada. Marvell Wynne is expected to be inserted back into the starting lineup, or at least the bench, for the Rapids after serving a 1 game suspension.
