Jamaica vs. United States: Omar Cummings Starts For Reggae Boyz

Omar Cummings is getting the start up at forward for the Jamaican National Team as they play the United States on Friday evening.

The game has just started, so we're about to find out if Omar's recent dip in form with the Rapids is also going to translate to a dip in form for his national team.* He came in for a very brief cameo in the 2-1 loss that the Yanks suffered in Kingston a few days back, but didn't have enough time to make much of an impact.

Here are the lineups for the game, provided by our wonderful USMNT blog, Stars And Stripes FC:

USMNT lineup: Tim Howard; Fabian Johnson, Carlos Bocanegra, Geoff Cameron, Steve Cherundolo; Jermaine Jones, Danny Williams; Jose Torres, Clint Dempsey, Graham Zusi; Herculez Gomez

Jamaica lineup: Dwayne Miller; Jermaine Taylor, Adrian Mariappa, Nyron Nosworthy, Lovel Palmer; Rodolph Austin, Jason Morrison, Je-Vaughn Watson; Ryan Johnson, Luton Shelton, Omar Cummings

* By this, we mean that we really hope it does, of course. I'd hate for him to suck so hard for the Rapids all year and then suddenly come back to bite the Americans for a good performance.
