The Colorado Rapids victory over the Portland Timbers on Saturday night quickly became my favorite match of the season before the game even started! The supporters groups of the Rapids and Timbers have quite the friendly rivalry going and had a blast at the tailgates before the game ever started.
If any of you have game-day/tailgate stories to share please post them in the fan section!
But for now, on to our weekly Rapids and MLS links.

Inside the Portland Timbers - Seattle Sounders Rivalry
I know, this has nothing to do with the 'Pids, but I was fortunate enough to represent my Rapids at this Cascadia Cup match in Portland last week and this article does a great job describing the atmosphere in Portland. I still love Colorado more, but check out this article to learn about our Timbers Army friends from last nights tailgate!
