So it looks like Conor Casey is going to be shut down for the rest of the season. Of course, the end of the season is just two short games away (boy, that went fast!). So here's a question - should Omar Cummings also be shut down? This season's been an adventure in ankle injuries for Omar, so an early end of the season for him could be a good thing. Plus, with no chance whatsoever for the playoffs at this point, it's a great chance to give some of the younger players some time on the field. Andre Akpan got to start in last week's game against the Earthquakes, and would probably relish the chance to start in the final two games as well. I'd personally love to see Kamani Hill get a decent chunk of field time in.
These upcoming games could provide an opportunity to Oscar Pareja to be a bit more experimental with his lineups, since it's not like he's risking any playoff chances anymore! So what do you think - should Omar Cummings also be shut down for the remainder of the season?
