The Colorado Rapids have not lost very much recently. They are currently on a seven game unbeaten streak with five wins in that, not a bad clip for a team that was stuggling so mightily earlier in the year.
The Chicago Fire have not lost very much this season either. Unfortunately, that's because they've been too concerned with setting the league record for most draws in a single season. FC Dallas' 14 draws from last season look at the Fire's form this season and say 'Well, at least we're not THAT.'
Colorado have been spending their recent time doing CCL games every week so the squad might be a little thin today against the Fire. Jamie Smith and Anthony Wallace are both still out with their various injuries so that's not helping either.
The Rapids and Fire battled to a (surprise surprise!) 1-1 draw the last match they played each other, that match featuring Andre Akpan's first goal in competition for the Rapids during that injury spat that we dealt with earlier in the season. Hopefully the Rapids interestingly good road form can turn this into three points, as with all the games out of hand they have on everyone else it looks like they're going to need to keep getting points every game simply to make sure they'll still be in the races when every other team - mainly Real Salt Lake - has caught up.
UZ'S PREDICTION: 1-1 Draw (What a surprising prediction!)
