The Rapids, having only two incredibly late picks in the supplemental draft, were obviously not going to be getting the cream of the crop as it were at the draft.
They didn't pass on the picks, but instead chose English forward Philip Bannister from Loyola University and defender Javed Mohammed from the University of South Florida in the draft. It's very unlikely that we'll ever be seeing either of these guys in the league, but as @RapidsSoccer's twitter reminded us, our own Jeff Larentowicz and Kosuke Kimura were originally supplemental picks.
