The boys in gold from Philly may be nearing the end of a lost season, but there should be better things on the horizon for this young and underrated squad.
The Union will face Colorado coming off of their best win of the season, a 3-0 crushing of a lowly Chivas USA side. Their talent begins and ends with former Seattle striker Sebastien Le Toux, who has carried the Union on his back all season long and is even a dark horse for the MLS golden boot award if he can rattle off a fantastic run in the last few games. His 11 goals and 10 assists make him one of the class members of the league. Union forward Danny Mwanga is the only other player that has even come close to touching his production, with seven goals and four assists on the season.
This team could easily play spoiler to another teams playoff hopes with their much improved form as of late. In their last five league games the team is an impressive 3-1-1.
