Short Scouting Report: Real Salt Lake

Real Salt Lake's 2010 side may be one of the best teams in the history of the league. They've set several records - best defense in the league, most games at home without a loss in a row, among others - and have been able to fight off the fatigue of all their competitions and work toward trying to do the double with a repeat MLS Cup and a CCL Championship to boot. They are still in contention for the Supporters Shield as well, and you could call it kind of a BS triple if they win the "Nobody cares but us" trophy, the Rocky Mountain Cup.

To talk about all of RSL's qualities would take far too long to keep this a short scouting report, as they have truly no real weaknesses. They have a goalkeeper who should have been an all-star if Bruce Arena wasn't a complete jerk, a stifling defense, a powerful offense and enough depth that they could probably put a second XI on the field and defeat DC United.

It's all the other teams in the league can do to try and defeat this side for a chance to get their own MLS Cup, RSL is certainly not going down without a fight.
