Beckham is back! Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is yet to be seen. Actually, it doesn't matter that Beckham is back because the LA Galaxy have been doing just fine without his services.

The Los Angeles Galaxy have had a year that we've come to expect from them. Supporters Shield challengers, high scoring offense and an all-star goalkeeper to boot - although there's some debate as to whether Donovan Ricketts actually deserved to be an all-star, but I digress. Edson Buddle and Landon Donovan have torn up the leagues defenses this season, to the tune of 39 combined goals and assists between them. Buddle's 16 goals is tops in the league, two tallies above the next best man Chris Wondolowski's 14.

Earlier in the season the Galaxy handed Colorado their only loss at home to teams not named DC United.
