Hope you didn't drink too much last night, because we've got an early afternoon affair to deal with this time around! The Colorado Rapids ended the hex of BMO Field earlier this season, and they'll need to do another hex-bust today if they want to get three more points to add to their impressive early-season total. Colorado have never won at CenturyLink Field and only have two wins over the Seattle Sounders in team history: a 1-0 win powered by Conor Casey back in 2010 and the famous 5-1 slaughterhouse from last season.
Last time these teams met, it wasn't sunshine and roses as Oscar Pareja's questionably picked team bumbled their way to a 2-0 loss at the CLink. This time, Atiba Harris and German Mera won't be getting starts, though. Pablo Mastroeni's boys have proven to be a bit smarter with the ball and defensively more stout than that team was that lost 2-0 last year, but we'll have to see if they're up to the task of the Martins/Dempsey partnership. And if the forwards can score a damn goal. We'll be watching that, too.
And as a reminder to any out-of-market fans that don't have MLS Live, this match is the stream of the week!
