Gabriel Torres Scores In Rapids Reserve Match On Monday

One takeaway from the Chivas USA debacle was that the Rapids really, really need someone who can finish off their best chances. That's nothing new, we've needed someone to do that all season with Edson Buddle struggling with fitness, Deshorn Brown still cutting his teeth as a youngster and Atiba Harris doing what Atiba Harris has done every other year he's been in MLS.

Gabriel Torres was brought in to provide that finishing that so desperately need and got off to a good start, scoring what was apparently a very good looking goal in his first appearance as a Rapid, a reserve game against Chivas on Monday.

They posted a video of it as well and yes, it was super.

Oh yeah, and apparently his visa also came through. He'll be available against the Whitecaps on Saturday, and not a moment too soon!
