2-0 might not be the scoreline we were looking for against Chivas -- though that's mostly because we were all hoping for 5-0 -- but it was a solid performance all around by the boys in burgundy. Who was the best player on the field though? I nominate these two guys:
Nathan Sturgis - Won the Man of the Match award from the team itself, and it was well deserved. For the third straight game, Sturgis absolutely dominated in his defensive midfield spot, and he added a well taken goal after a few good runs on the end of it all. He gets on this list over the other goalscorer, Atiba Harris, because after scoring, Harris seemed invisible for the rest of the match.
Chris Klute - Really, the entire back line could win the man of the match on its own, because they were all wonderfully steady throughout the evening. Klute had a couple of fantastic crosses to add onto his defensive work though, including the beauty that led to the first goal being scored.
