Pablo Mastroeni, Edson Buddle Both Seem To Be Doubtful For RSL Match

When the Rapids face off against Real Salt Lake, they'll be missing both Edson Buddle and Pablo Mastroeni.

Injuries are starting to pile up for the Rapids, and it looks like, counting Martin Rivero and Jaime Castrillon, four potential starters will be missing when they face off against Real Salt Lake on Saturday. Neither Edson Buddle nor Pablo Mastroeni seem likely to suit up for Colorado because of a knee and a hamstring injury, respectively.

In Pablo's place, we're probably either going to see Dillon Powers move back into the linking midfielder spot or Nick LaBrocca take over just like he did when Pablo first left the field against Philadelphia. As for Buddle, they'll probably use the same combo of guys as before up in the striker spots, with Danny Mwanga perhaps stuck into the mix as well.

As long as Oscar Pareja doesn't try any hilarious 'Drew Moor in the midfield' experiments this time around like he did last year, hopefully this game should still be an entertaining and close affair like it would almost certainly be with Pablo on the pitch.
