The few injury problems so far in the 2012 MLS season have come absolutely nowhere near the madness that was 2011's injury glut, but it still stings to lose one of your best players and the Colorado Rapids will be in that position for the second straight week. Speedy center back Marvell Wynne has been ruled officially out of the game against FC Dallas on Sunday, making it the second straight game out after straining a hamstring in training.
Wynne's speed and ability were sorely missed against the New England Revolution during the Rapids' 2-1 loss at Gillette Stadium, with Tyrone Marshall looking a lot less effective than he did last season both speed wise and defensively. Dallas' attack is multi-leveled with plenty of guys who can hurt you so hopefully Drew Moor alone will be able to hold down the middle with Marshall or whoever else is stuck into the role (Eddie Ababio?) well enough to get by.
