After an exciting first chunk of the season, it's time for a bit of a break. Due to international play, the Colorado Rapids and just about everyone else in the league are getting a prolonged break. Between the Montreal Impact and the Rapids' next game in the league against the Vancouver Whitecaps, the Rapids are getting 21 days off.

The only things to do in the interim are going to be an Open Cup game or two, depending on how the Rapids do against the Tampa Bay Rowdies on Tuesday, and lots and lots of US Men's National team games to watch. I hope you support your country (or at least some country) because over here at Burgundy Wave we'll be shifting a fair amount of coverage to our boys in the FC Dallas jerseys the red, white and blue!

Considering the game last night was a 5-1 win over Scotland, I'm excited.
